NOTE
The beginning of this heart shaped object, was when Nakayama was approached from a fellow architect to participate in a charity to aid the damages from the Great East Japan Earth Quake.At that time this object was made from improvising with the materials that he found in his office.
Concrete is used to make strong buildings and cities,but when the earth quake hit us, I had this feeling where I though there is nothing else in the world that is stronger than our hearts.Keeping this same feeling, this object was remade with a slightly softer touch and expression. Maybe use it as a bookend or a door stopper, or even for your own heart.
