JOHANNES NORLANDER
Johannes (born Gothenburg, Sweden; 1974) studied architecture at both the Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg (1993-1996) and the Stockholm Royal Institute of Technology (1996-1999), in addition to graphic design and illustration at Konstfack University. Johannes set up his design studio Johannes Norlander Arkitektur & Form in 2001, followed in 2003 by the organization of his Austrian-based production company called OJP. Johannes showed his product designs including lamps, chairs and tables and later went on to collaborate on various projects with Oskar Kaufmann, Alcro and Alex B. His work is recognizable for its base in simple form and use of color, to which he adds playful elements.
